Holstein Turm
A slender white needle has been rising 100 meters into the white-blue northern German sky as a landmark on the Baltic coast since 1987. On its tip, the state flag of Schleswig-Holstein unfolds in the hardly imaginable size of 30 square meters. From the glass pulpit, which spirals upward in circular motions, passengers experience the overwhelming beauty of the landscape from the Holstein Lake District to the Bay of Lübeck and Mecklenburg - the perspective rediscovery of an old world.
