Blackbeard's Revenge
In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the shores and shallow inlets of North Carolina’s outer banks became a destination for pirates. The most notable Carolina pirate was known for terrorizing sailors and ambushing ships. With his reputation of a ruthless pirate and a beard covering his entire face, this pirate became known as Blackbeard. Our new slide complex is a tribute to this part of Carolina history.
